“We’re awesome. We’re awesome.” Joey sang, as they all walked to the cars after the football game.
    “So, what are your plans for tomorrow?” Kelly asked Miley.
    “I have to get my ring out of the drain. It feels so weird not to be wearing it. And, we’re having a late lunch with our parents.” Miley said, playing with Justin’s ring as she spoke.
    “Oo…lunch with the in-laws. When was the last time you had to do that.” Chris joked.
    “I’m looking forward to it.” Justin replied.
    “How did we end up with the 18 year old newlyweds again? I thought we had outgrown that stage.” JC said.
    “Very funny.” Justin said, as they arrived at their cars.
    “I’ll give you a call once we’re done with lunch.” Miley said, hugging Kelly and a half-asleep Briahna.
    “Sounds like a plan.” Kelly said, leaning close. “And if you guys do it and it’s not like you remember it, keep at it.” Kelly whispered. “After a year, things may be a little rusty.”
    “I’ll give you the update later.” Miley said, opening the truck door and hopping in.
    Justin followed and looked at Miley. “What was that about?” He asked.
    Miley smiled. “I’ll show you when we get home.’ She replied.

    “Aw, do the doggies want out?” Miley asked, watching Bella and Bearlie run around by her feet and Justin’s.
    “Do you guys need out?” Justin asked, opening the door for the two dogs. They padded out and Justin turned on the porch light.
    “Let me grab a quilt and I’ll go sit with them.” Miley said.
    “Get one big enough and I’ll join ya.” Justin said, opening the door.
    A minute or so later, the two were curled up on the porch swing, watching the terrier and poodle play around in the front yard.
    “I remember being so excited when this porch swing was added in.” Miley said, looking up at Justin.
    “You loved sitting here and watching the dogs. And, sometimes you were even able to see me.” Justin said.
    “This may be my favorite spot in the whole house.” Miley replied.
    “Just the outside, right?” Justin asked.
    “Nah, I think the whole house.” Miley said.
    Next thing Miley knew, her body was in the air and Justin was calling for the dogs. She wrapped her arms around Justin’s neck, holding on tight.
    “What are you doing?” Miley asked, watching Justin open the door. He let the dogs go running in first and then carried her in.
    He pushed the door close with his foot and then turned to his left. “You can set me down.” Miley said, eyeing the stairs.
    “Nah.” Justin replied, stumbling a little at first. He regained his footing and then slowly climbed the stairs.
    “So, you never told me what you’re doing.” Miley said, watching the hallway pass by until he stopped outside the bedroom door.
    “I’m showing you my favorite room in the house.” Justin said.

    “I so had forgotten how much I loved having sex with him.” Miley said, leaning up against the edge of the sleigh bed.
    “I take it that it all went well?” Kelly asked, over the phone.
    “First time too.” Miley replied.
    “It just proves that you guys were meant to be together.” Kelly said.
    “He’s even inspired me to write. I’m looking at having my second book written soon.” Miley said.
    “See, everything is working out great.” Kelly said.
    “I’m just so excited. I wanted to call you the other day but I never left the bed.” Miley said.
    “He was that horny?” Kelly asked, laughing.
    “I had my laptop out and was writing. He did some work out in the field and then joined me. We had breakfast in bed, watched some TV, and did a little bit of everything.” Miley explained.
    “Face it, you’ll be popping out the next *NSYNC baby.” Kelly said.
    “You know, I still don’t fully get that name. You can say it’s your initials all you want…” Miley started.
    “Bri and Joey are back from the park, so I’m gonna have to let you go.” Kelly said.
    “Tell her hi for me!” Miley said, excited. “And I’ll see you later!”
    “We gotta start planning for your great idea to save the park.” Kelly said.
    “Ooo…we do!” Miley said.
    “Hang up the phone! I want my wife back.” Justin’s voice interrupted.
    “Someone’s wanting attention.” Kelly joked.
    “Please?” Justin begged.
    “I’ll call you later Kel.’ Miley said.
    “Later Miley.” Kelly said, laughing a little as she hung up.
    “I’ve got my wife to myself. I’ve got my wife to myself.’ Miley heard Justin sing.
    Justin walked into the bedroom and suddenly stopped. “Did the CD collection explode?” Justin asked, looking all over the floor.
    “I got carried away looking for songs for the park show.” Miley replied.
    “I didn’t even know we had that many CD’s.” Justin said, looking at the piles.
    “What did I agree to do?’ Miley asked, looking to Justin.
    “You just wanted to save a piece of your childhood.” Justin said, making his way over to her.
    “Kelly thinks I’ll be popping out the next *NSYNC baby.” Miley said.
    “I don’t think we’re totally ready yet.” Justin said.
    “Maybe that’ll be your Christmas present.” Miley said, making Justin smile.
    “Let’s wait until after we know if we need you for the show.” Justin said.
    “Do you think we could go to the park?” Miley asked. “I haven’t really been by to see it since I came home.”
    “I think we can manage that. We can go out for dinner, get some ice cream, and stop by the park.’ Justin suggested.
    “Like a date?” Miley asked.
    “Like a date.” Justin answered.
