So, you're going to Spain, huh?  Granada?  Lucky duck.  I was there not so long ago, for five months, and absolutely loved it.  It became like a home to me, and I hope I get the chance to return someday.  Who am I kidding?  I know I'll be back.  Pronto.

But in the meantime, it's your turn to explore the moorish city, home to the Alhambra, from which Boabdil was exiled by the Catholic Ferdinand and Isabel.  The arab flavor still lingers in "las teterias" and "el Albaicin".  Buy a scarf, eat a shawarma, and dance the fandango--pretty soon you'll have Spanish blood running through your veins!

If you need any help getting to that point, feel free to come back here for some advice from a fellow American Granadina.  I'll do my best to provide you with the best packing dos and don'ts, give helpful suggestions on where the best of Granada life can be found, and tell you how to save a Euro or two, to boot!  If you don't find what you're looking for here,
email me.

The rest is up to you, so go out there and be a Spaniard for a while!  Buena suerte!
