I know its been forever since I last posted, I'm sorry. Things have been... well busy. I have had many things happen & have many things to write about but you know when you've let it go for this long its hard to write about what happened to you over a month ago. So chances are I won't write about anything! lol. Anyway, I have been busy with work, as usual. actually I do have a story about that! At my part time job I had to get a TB test since its a medical facility, I wasn't feeling well in the first place so that should have been a good indication that I should have waited til later for the test but oh well. TB tests have changed since the last time I had one, they used to be four little needle points that they jab in your skin and that was that. Not anymore. They use an actual injection, yep nice big needle! I had to stand leaning agaist a counter while the nurse injected the dead tb cells into my arm. I almost fainted. LOL I'm not a fainter but at that point I about lost it.Which would have been ironic since I was working in Urgent Care and had a patient at the time. Anyway thats my story. Not much else to say except I'm staying in the house with the girls for at least another year. Glutton for punishment, perhaps. We'll see...

Nothing much is going on at the moment. I'm at work, in fact I work both jobs this weekend. I'm tired and would really enjoy a nap at the moment. The funniest thing happened this morning at work. I was sitting at my computer when this terrible noise came from the pharmacy (which is closed and has a locked gate).  I knew it was the alarm but I couldn't figure out how to stop it or what set it off being that nobody was near the silly thing when it went off. Anyway the alarm stopped by itself and I didn't think much about it because I had patients to deal with. Well, I was taking this patients blood pressure and couldn't figure out why I couldn't hear her heart beating (she was very much alive), so I went to get a new stethoscope.  As I left the room I saw a cop walking down the hall. He asked me if I was alone (which we are never suppose to admit to anyone), I said yes besides the doctor and patients and the cop started questioning me! I connected the cop to the alarm but it was still pretty funny! We got everything settled but wow I nearly jumped out of my skin seeing the cop! I'm glad I wasn't really alone or I might have screamed before I realized it was a cop! Haha! Anyway, I'm bored. You can only surf the net so much before it gets old. Well, I think I'm off to read  the Unfinished Tales (I just finished the Silmarillion). Talk to you all later when I actually have stuff to say.

Hello folks! I trust all is well for you all. I'm doing quite well. For the first time in like 2-3 weeks I was able to hang out with my friends. This was very exciting and very tiring being that I actually didn't get home until 1:30am. Now this in its self wouldn't be bad if you could get up at say 10am. Nope I was up at 5:45. Okay not really up but thats when I hit snooze for the first time!  Back to my evening with friends (man, do I get sidetracked!). I had good intentions of going home at a reasonable hour but well, all good intentions went out the door when I broke a friends plastic ruler, which by the way had "shatter resistant" printed on it. Hmmm. Why would I not be able to go home early because of a broken ruler, you ask. Simply put... guilt.

It seems that a student in Engineering uses a ruler everyday thus making a straight piece of plastic invaluable to its owner. So I did what any normal person would do... Go to Wally-world! Plus I dragged my friend Julia and three Chris's (although one spells his name kris and sometimes goes by Carolyn) along. The three Chris's (or should I say chrisi) started playing with a cardboard box in the parking lot so we girls went inside pertending not to know them. Unfortunately they started to catch up with us so we had to take evasive manuvers to escape them.  We weaved through aisles and succeded in losing them. Being girls we decided to hit the bathrooms before selecting a new plastic ruler. On the way there Julia and I spy the the chrisi on the main walkway by the fabric department, to avoid being seen we dove under a lingerie rack, all the while the mission impossible theme song ran through my head. Again success!

Eventually Julia and I made it to the ruler section and chose the exact same blue shatter resistant plastic ruler that our friend had previously owned. As we headed over to the check out, the guys appeared before us and we followed them to the front. Hiding behind a stand of wallets we watched them (much to our amusement) inspecting a display of bananas, close enough to hear theiir conversation. At this point our game turns on us. The boys check out and head to the exit. So we also paid for the ruler and started to follow them out but by the time we made it through the cashier the boys had disappeared. Slightly indignant, we go out to our car (we took two) and sure enough they had left us there. Julia and I got into ger car and headed back to Rick's think thats where they would go as well. Turns out that they weren't there and we felt bad, so we decided to go back and look for them after I returned the new ruler to its place of honor in the backpack. Long story short (sort of) we passed the guys coming back and thought it would be funny to pretend that they were the ones who had evaded us. They fell for it! Julia and I had a good laugh over this! Anyway this was a long pointless story, but for those of you who complain that I don't post enough should be happy... haha. I'll write again soon, maybe.
