| Okay this is getting ridiculously long so Im going to summarize a bit here.
He gets out of the tunnel, and sneaks out the bakery. Manages to go back to the safe house to warn his friends, who are happy to see him, so it takes a while to get them to understand that in a few days a sorceress might come knocking on their door and kill every one, and that gets them to leave town in a hurry. Before he leaves Dar grabs Crow by the shoulder, Hay, you listen. Me and some of the others are headed to Wishetal. If you ever need anything you look us up there. Got it. Got it. He says throwing his friend a smile knowing he would never take him up on the offer until the sorceress was taken care of. He gets to the ship in the harbor where he is taken to see Aqerious who reads the letter from Naree. Looking at him for a moment, You managed to piss her right off didnt you? Sir? looking up. The sorceress. Yeah, I guess I did. He says looking a bit guilty. Smiling at him Aqerious says, Alright, youve managed to catch my interest. Ill take you on, but it wont be no free ride. You do what I say. Argue and Ill through you overboard in the middle of the ocean. Got it. Yes sir. He says scared, not willing to admit that he cant swim. Good. Walking over to the loading ramp, Hurry it up a bit boys were leaving a little sooner then planned. A little earlier ended up meaning that night. So standing on the deck he watched light lights of the dock slowly fade away. The next morning when the sorceress finds him gone, she becomes furious, as a result it thunderstorms for the next week. She never finds him, however, she does start a manhunt for his friends, but by the time she starts looking for them, they are all scattered and far out of her reach. He spends the next 10 years on the ship learning from the captain and his crew. Whether he wants to or not. Then one night they return to the same harbor and Crow decides its time to take care of some unfinished business. Next |
