| Concepts Space: Unlike most worlds that have definit boundaries, Myrithica does not. A world that exists in between Worlds, it is constantly expanding. Its geography shaped by the dragons, who control the very formation of the world itself. Magic: Over the surface and through the walls of Myrithica, there is a web of energy (Magic) holding it together. This web was created by the dragons long ago, and is connected to their life sources. The more dragons there are the stronger the web the less there are, well you get the picture. This is the essence of there connection to this world. But what this also does is the energy seeps out like a gas slowly absorbing into everything it touches, which is everything in this world. As more energy is fused the amount of magic a creature is able to access grows. However, this is a slow process, and the increase of energy a creature is able to gain access to is barely measurable in one lifetime. True the difference between an adult and a child is measurable, but this is more because of the physical and mental abilities of the wielder, not the amount of energy. Also, a creatures abilities are also based on the individual. The ability to use this energy is determined, not only by exposure, but by the physical and mental capabilities of the individual. Then there are creatures who have inherited magic naturally from their parents. In this case the energy acts as an amplifier for the magic they already naturally possess. Time- time is irrelevant here. As a place of magic and of the mind, a person grows at there own pace. You could have two people, one with the appearance of a 30 year old man and another with the appearance of a 10 year old kid and they could both be 200 in Earth years. Most of those who live here have not gained the knowledge necessary to use this. The main ones you have to worry about with this concept are Demons, Celestials, Original Humans, and other tribes that have this ability naturally on their original worlds, such as Elves, and Elementals. |
