| They were taking a break from their work when they were called to the hatching sands. Standing in a circle with the other candidates available Dax noticed that most of the candidates were still children, and that even with them there werent enough for all the eggs on the sands. Watching, many eggs hatched, she became so involved that she didnt even notice the white hatchling settle herself at her feet until she spoke to her. /You are mine./ she heard, looking down she smiled at the dracling. /Can you really change into other things?/ Yes, I can shift, but I'll show you later, Salahirth. After I've fed you." Agreeing hole-heartedly the dragonet leads the way off the sands. |

| A few moments after Salahirth hatched a bronze followed after. Busy trying to scratch off the shell stuck to his skin he gives up and turns to Karvet. /Will you get this off please?/ Giving a small start, Karvet let out a wide grin and went forward, carefully removing the piece of shell and smiling down at the hatchling. /Next time I will stop him!/ the dragonet says boldly. "I don't doubt you could have stopped him, Kahakoith," Karvet said in reply to the bold claim that the bronze could have protected his bond from the wizard. "And hopefully there won't be a next time." | |||||||||||||||
