When they arrived back at the hotel, they said goodbye and she went up to her room. She had suite enjoyed their talk and was a bit intriged by him. She secretely hoped they would see each other again, privately, so she could get to know him a bit better. She decided to write a letter to her friend at home because she really wanted to tell someone about him and she hadn't had the time yet to make friends in Italy.

The next few days, she spend her time like most tourists do, by visiting all the well known places. She had bought a very detailed book on Rome, so she decided to stay a while longer, and also go and see the less known things. She thought Rome was a very interesting city and wanted to find out everything there was to know about it. The only problem was that she needed someone to show here around and who knew a lot about the city that you couldn't find in a book. She thought Fransisco might be the right person for the job since he had already told her a few stories she had never heared or read before. But she hadn't seen him around for a fe days now. So she decided to ask his sister if he might be interested in being her guide - he would of course get payed for it - or if she thought he wouldn't be interested, if she knew someone else who might be willing.

But when she went downstairs to go to the dining room, she saw him behind the reception and decided to ask him immediately. When he saw her, he started smiling so she assumed he was as happy to see her as she was to see him. She asked him if he was interested in showing her the less known places of Rome, which he would probably know since he had been living there for most of his life. She would pay him whatever he wanted for it, as long as his price was reasonable. And since she was interested in him on a personal level as well, she was probably willing to pay more than she normally would, although she didn't tell him that.

He said he would love to do that, but he would have to ask his sister because she counted on him to help out at the hotel and he had only just returned from visiting a friend. So he probably would have to fit it into his normal schedule and be back at the hotel a few times a day. If Ellie didn't mind that, he didn't think it would be a problem. He would let her know after dinner, so they could arrange a time for their first 'meeting'

She hadn't finished with her dinner yet, when he came to her and asked if she would mind if he sat down so they could talk. He told her he had had a long conversation with his sister and after some persuasion, she had decided to let him be her guide. He wasn't sure yet where he would take her, or which things she had already seen, so he thought it would be a good idea to excahnge some thought on that first, before he would make a 'schedule'. She told him she had seen most of the places that the tourists normally get to see and a few other things as well. They compiled a list of things she had seen, and he said he would work something out for them to do that next day. He asked her how much time she had, so he could choose the most interesting things, or at least the things he found the most interesting, in case she didn't have a lot of time left. She told him that was completely up to her, as long as her sister didn't mind having the same guest at the hotel for a few more weeks. He didn't think it would be a problem, unless there were a lot of reservations for the next week, but in that case, that would also be able to find a solution.
