== Mt. Everest == 

I don’t mean nor want to imply something in this topic I’m going to tell, nor there is a hidden message or whatsoever in this issue.

It may be too late, out of time/outdated to be discuss or to say something about it. Well, its ok, its not that I’m after. I just want to express myself, of what I see, of what I believe, that’s all.

They said that it is only this 20^th century that someone reach the summit of Mt. Everest, it may be true, it may not. There may be someone long ago that reach the top of Everest but only it was not recorded or the record was lost or something. It can be also that someone that is not given much attention or was overlook. Well, we’ll just have to leave that to the historians.

In an attempt of the Filipino to reach the summit Of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world, of course many if not all were excited because if ever there will be a 1^st Filipino that will be able to reach the top of Everest and like they say “put the Philippines’ flag there”.

They say it is really very difficult to summit any mountain especially If it is snowy, even more if it is the highest mountain, Mt. Everest, perhaps no one will object about it. That’s why the move of the Filipino to reach the peak of Everest is not something to be left unnoticed. They also say that the climbing of the Filipino to reach the highest part of Everest is something to be proud of, and of course…. It is true.

In the Philippines, a well-known broadcasting company advertised that they will cover the attempt of one team of Filipino to reach the summit of Everest. I don’t know how much is their investment or whatsoever spending they have spent in this thought to be a historical documentation, a 1^st time in Philippine history.

The said company advertised many times, perhaps for PR, prestige or whatever it is. They said it will be something the Filipino can be proud of. (Can it really be proud of?)

I’m not a mountaineer nor is it my hobbit nor my close interest, and I don’t know much about mountain climbing either…. But I have just think and thought….it seems that their chosen one, which I’m going to give a pseudo name of Roga, is so much taken care of by their hire professional mountaineers in Mt. Everest.

So much taken care of that is seems Roga become (in Filipino quote, “saling pusa”) just like a cargo, or like a star that need to be taken care of, or a hitch. And in a simple logic, I think, the outcome of it, whoever the hell is the hitch, if accompanied by professionals, especially if most if not all the things were done by these professionals, and the hitch is train so much by the professional, (Of course it is not an issue because every one need to be train) then, more than less the hitch will be able to accomplish the task.

If you will see or watch what they are showing, you may say, if not totally, somehow become a hitch(unintentionally, unnoticed). That most of the important work, dangerous work that a climber will experience and be proud of, is done by those hired professionals.

I know that it is really hard to get to the peak of Everest, and many were injured, danger, if not pass away before, during and after they arrive at the summit of Mt. Everest, especially if not accompanied by the professionals or native there. But if you’re a hitch in this journey (even if you don’t feel like one) and all the work or task were Done by somebody, can you say, you can or it can be proud of??

In any case, it is not really the topic I want to discuss for todayړ…. I’ve just noticed it, so I just make a few comments….☺ I’ve just observed…..in the advertisements of the said company, in their documentation for the said expedition, they have concentrated much to their champion, and of course its normal. They always say that, it’s ok whoever gets to the top first; the important thing is that a Filipino was able to get to the pinnacle of Everest, what Roga said might be sincere to him, but to the network?? (Might never know as business has its own agenda)

What I’ve noticed….Roga is the first, of all the Filipino team, that will challenge Mt. Everest, to leave the Philippines(also first to start the training). Of course if you will think of, and with plain logic, Mr. Roga will be the one to crown the first Filipino to reach the peak of Everest. (That’s why in their commercial, they always integrated the word “The first Filipino to reach the highest point of Everest”.)

They constantly say that they don’t take any side or they are not bias or predispose anything…. (Is it really true? Do you think so?) Let’s see it… the broadcasting company advertises…. They publicize about Roga, they build” self-proud”, furthermore they even prayed for Roga(Is it necessarily to publicize the prayer?) that they finish the undertaking safe and sound and return in one piece, but only for Roga, how about the others? Have they even cared for that? Have they recognized them? Moreover, in their ad about praying, they just first pray for Roga(I think) and in their modified ad, because their champ is now in the tail of the other mountaineer (And they hav never anticipated it! Its like they were shock for it! ~in a simple logic too, not all the training is similar in terms of time even if the task is the same And a lot more reasons and not just because you are the first one to do the task or to go out it doesn’t mean you’re the first one too to complete it) they just incorporate the other hiker in the prayer for a very short time, to be a little exaggerated~ a split of a second, in a flash!

Nevertheless, you can’t blame them, after all they have lots of expenses in that trip, for Roga and the exclusive coverage and not for those other mountaineers and that its business too after all, business is business, they go to where they thought would benefit them most, nothing personal like they say!

Like what most business say, “"Our purpose is not just for glory but also we want our there investment in return”. Well, that’s the world of business…. Its like a common sense, they first see of course those people where they spent their money, Where they have investment, where they have believe to profit them most. But as the event twist, and there champ was in the lose (in the third place out of four ~the fourth one is self-finance), they chose to include in their watch the two Filipino that is in the lead.

Anyhow, its hard to say and explain everything that you see, noticed or feel. Like I already said earlier, I have no agenda, hidden message, grudge, hold against anyone or anything that is negative or whatsoever, its just my pure opinion according to what I’ve see, what I believe, nothing more, nothing less. The truth is, I company I have just mention is the station I most watch than the other networks that’s why I saw most of their advertisement than the other(mountaineer), so I don’t  have much idea of what the others do, anyways like I said, and I’ll say it again, its just my own view on what I’ve perceive.

Well, I guess I said more in my introduction than my actual issue; I just can’t put across it that much of what I feel regarding my “theme” at the moment.
