This is one of the doors that VIDAL ANGEL painted at my place in san francisco . he did two doors inside and out . i don't remember how long it took him but it was a while . i was not able to take the doors with me when i left so i have no idea what might have happened to them . these doors were in the kitchen and that room was the center of many nights worth of words and wisdom spilled over the floor like warm beer . . . . . . SCOTT WILLIAMS painted the door in the bathroom and the walls and tub and the back of the toilet . this all happened in the late 70's and early 80's at 232 sanchez st . san francisco . i can still see the faces and remember the music like it was last night , though thru a fog over dadaland . . . . . . . . |
