When anyone thinks of the city of Jerusalem, he probably thinks first of the huge gold dome that stands above everything else in the landscape. That building is a Muslim temple called the Dome of the Rock. It is the point at which Muslims claim (falsely, 'cause they didn't get anything right) that Muhammad rose from the earth and ascended into heaven.

    The tension regarding this is that this is the very location on which the ancient temple of Solomon stood. The Jews wish to rebuild the temple there, but the stubborn Muslims refuse to let them.
