| There are lots of things we will be working on over the season to improve ourselves, both individually and as a team. The coaching staff promises to give its best effort and it asks each player and parent to do the same and have fun. We are all going to make mistakes, but that is all part of learning. Here are some guidelines to live by for this season: 1. HAVE FUN !!!!!! 2. Work hard. 3. Respect your teammates and other parents. Everyone will make a mistake thats how we learn. 4. I need to have everyone ready to go on the ice 10 minutes before the game and no parents in the room. This will give the coaching staff time to talk with the team alone before they go on the ice. 5. Try to keep only one parent per player in the dressing room. This will avoid over crowding. Parents can/should leave the dressing room once player is ready to go. 6. Try to let me know if you will miss a game. This will help me in planning for the game. 7. Remember the volunteers throughout the team and the league are volunteers doing their best for your child and theirs. 8. Remember the coaching staff has taken on a large job and committed their time and energy to the team. They are all trained in their respective positions. 9. If you ever have a concern please make sure you take the time to collect your thoughts so that all communication is constructive, effective, and positive. 10. Have a great season and enjoy the game of hockey and more importantly your kids ! |
