Comments: It was great to finally play again. We needed to get tested and get some of this rust off us in order to get ready for the playoffs. La Joya came into the game as the number 1 team in the valley and they gave us a good test before our area game. The key to the game was we had too many walks, pass balls, and left too many men on base. I was proud of our kids they fought till the end and have nothing to be ashamed about. We go back to work tomorrow and start a new winning streak and hopefully this one gets us to Austin. We had won 17 in a row by the way. We now wait the winner between Mathis and Carrizo Springs. The series will be played the week of the 13th. Until then, save your energy and spirit because the fun is just about to begin!
