This jersey is the mass produced version to satisfy the demand for the new red jersey. The Flames made their big playoff run in 2004 which spiked the demand as they were Canada's only hope to bring back the Stanley Cup that year. The authentics of the new jersey's had Koho logo's which were more accurate to what the players wore, but the replicas versions came with a CCM logo.

With vintage jerseys making an appearance in the NHL again, CCM took the opportunity to re-release jerseys from defunct teams such as Winnipeg and the Colorado Rockies.

Vintage jerseys were made so CCM took the time to make some classics such as Gretzky, Selanne, Sakic... This jersey has everything ironed on and includes the captain's "C". For those who know their jerseys, they would know that the collar never looked like that.

Since Rbk bought out CCM an their manufacturing. Originally produced in Canada at the CCM factory, they've moved there production over to Indonesia. Thus you will not see the Canadian flag on the back of any of the replica jerseys and you will also notice the quality has gone down. Luckily where I bought my jersey, they had the numbers ironed on and also stitched (limited to the outline). Also they don't include the little orange "NHL Puck" logo on the bottom right on the back.

With the NHL lockout, Ovechkin was held back from his NHL Debut. With Sidney Crosby being drafted during the lock out, Many argued which of the two would win the Calder Memorial Trophy. Ovechkin won the trophy over Crosby, but Sidney would counter that win by being awarded the Art Ross Trophy leading the league with 120 points the following season. In the later half of the 06-07 season, Ovechkin was assigned the Assistant Captains A for his leadership on and off the ice. Only key errors on the jersey is the fact that the white shadowing on the text and numbers are not thick like how the player wear.

These Reebok branded jerseys only lasted 2 seasons before the switch to the new Edge system. This jersey has everything sewn on from the logo, NHL shield, shoulder patches and the elbows are double reinforced. It was purchsed from Jersey City on sale and has been sent off to IceJerseys for work to be done. I'm also planning on adding the Luc Robitaille Retirement Night patch as well.

Detroit Red Wings Authentic 6100 Pro Weight jersey by Reebok. These were worn for 2 seasons before the switch to the new Edge jerseys. Features double enforced elbows and fight strap.

Starting in the 2007-2008 season the NHL introduced the new jerseys which will feature RBK's new signature "Edge" style jersey. These new uniforms are more form fitting and repel moisture unlike the previous models. Vancouver incorporated their ever popular vintage style jersey with their Orca logo (new colours) and added the vintage stick logo as their shoulder patches. A new addition to the uniforms was the arched "VANCOUVER" text over the Orca logo. The front, shoulders and arm areas are the only portions of the jersey treated with beadaway.

The year 2004 was a year the NHL celebrated Hockey's heritage. During the 2003-04 season, the NHL allowed several NHL teams to wear alternate throwback jerseys. A special jersey was made for the All-Star game which featured some unique characteristics. Felt was applied onto the Western, stars, and NHL logo to give it a vintage style look while the laces were made to replicate what the old timers worn back in their days.

Paul Kariya drafted in 1993 made his debut in 1994 with the Ducks. A deal sending Oleg Tverdovsky to the Winnipeg Jets allowed Kariya to play with the Finnish Flash, Teemu Selanne. The duo on the same line became a threat for any team they played against. Their hockey skill and speed were key to their success and together they hold a vast majority of the teams records. Paul spent 9 seasons with the Ducks taking them to their first Playoff appearance in 96-97 and their first Stanley Cup Finals in 02-03. From most of the details on this jersey, it's a reminder of Paul's final season with Anaheim before signing with Colorado. Everything on the jersey is ironed on. I originally had plans to have a 2003 Stanley Cup Finals patched sewn on, but decided to save it for my other jersey.

This jersey was bought blank from a seller on ebay and has been shipped off to IceJerseys for some work to be done on it. The addition of the 2003 Stanley Cup patch was just an added touch to reflect Paul's very last game as a Mighty Duck in game 7 of the finals which they had lost. The Mighty Ducks jerseys are quite unique, they have material stuffed inside the crest and patch logo's to give them a 3D look from certain angles.

The Avalanche kept their jersey design since entering the league when the Nordiques were sold from Quebec to Colorado. These designs were retired after the 06-07 season.

Reebok took over the NHL jersey's in 2005. The jerseys are basically the same and include a reflective RBK logo on the back. Jersey also features the new NHL logo. Everything on the jersey is professionally stitched and includes the assistants "A". The only flaw with the jersey is that they used the wrong A style. Well after sending the jersey back to the store I got it back fixed with another wrong "A". not only did I get a wrong "A" back but I also got 2 stains and several scratches on the silver. So instead of hassling them again, I've decided to send them to Ice Jerseys for work.

This jersey design was worn for 2 years, 2000 in Toronto and 2001 in Colorado. The jersey is professionally stitched and includes the 2001 NHL All-Star patch on the right side of the jersey. also the jersey includes the small Canadian flag and Mighty Ducks logo.

This Nike replica jersey has everything professionally stitched on. Flaws would include the missing Nike swoosh on the back and the name plate.

Mike Commodore, one of Fort Saskatchewan's newest Stanley Cup champions. Though with the Carolina Hurricanes when he won his first Stanley Cup, the season before, Mike was in the same spot with the Calgary Flames. This stick was used in the 7th game of the Stanley Cup Finals in 2004.

During the days of the Mighty Ducks, sometime during the late 90's, the team switched their purple helmets, pants and gloves for black. Paul wore these gloves during the 1999-2000 season for roughly two months before the back section of the right glove ripped. The gloves were returned to Gary Mackenzie from Paul's sister after a trip back from Anaheim to be used as a reference for future glove modifications. A year or so later, the gloves were of no use since they decided to make other altercations and were sold off. Some of the modifications would include the reinforced stitching on a additional piece of grey leather to enhance the gloves use life. Also the checker pattern on the right hand glove only, since Paul shoots left handed, it provides extra grip. Any modification repairs can be seen with Gary's use of white thread. The year there were worn are questionable as from photograph's seen, Paul wore black gloves during 1998-1999, I could not find any of him wearing them in 99-00 (Ex: NHL All Star Game in Toronto).

Aside from their inaugural season, during the 99-00 season, the Ducks wore a patch for the new millennium. It was also the only year the team had Pro Player jerseys. The team had an alternate jersey for both home and away.

This jersey is the exact same as the 2002 NHL All Star jersey. The only difference is the patch which features the city (Florida) where the game was held. This was the only time Paul has even worn a number besides his trademark 9 since Mike Modano had career seniority over him and was allowed first choice to which number he wanted to wear.
