"KAY!" Sami yelled from the kitchen. "Kay, sweetie, I'm serious, it's time to get up!"
"Honey, let her sleep in," Franco sidled up behind Sami and nibbled on her neck. After all these years, the chemistry was still amazing. "She was up very late last night helping Kimmy prepare for a biology test. She deserves a little break, no?"
"No," Sami said. "What she needs is to get up and get ready for school so you and I don't have to say here to drive her to school instead of getting to work on time."
"I thought Laurie was driving the girls to school today," Franco said.
"Oh, that's right!" Sami said.
"So we have little time..." Franco kissed her jaw, her throat, her lips.
She giggled and dragged him up the stairs by his tie.

Kay stumbled through the motions of getting ready for school. She kept walking into things!
She really shouldn't have stayed up so late last night but Kimmy had been in rare form, smiling and talkative. Kay knew it was only because she was helping her biology-challenged twin study, but she wanted to get along with Kimmy so badly and moments like this were so rare. She couldn't help it.
She barely had her hair fixed when Laurie screeched to a halt in front of the Kelly house. Franco still couldn't believe Mike had let her drive his cherished red Mustang as he watched his girls load into the car from the bedroom window.
He didn't trust his niece as far as he could throw her "bony butt" as Will called it. He knew that when Kimmy got around Laurie scheming and manipulation were sure to follow.
He hated that when they got together they excluded Kay. He hated that Kay and Kimmy just couldn't seem to manage a close relationship. He just wanted his little girls to get along.
That didn't know if that was possible, especially after the Tommy Horton fiasco. But it looked like they were on the road to getting along.

"So, you've got a thing for my other sister now?" Roman asked amazed.
"Yeah, yeah, tease me as much as you like," Tommy said. "But Kay is clearly the better of your sisters...she just grows on you."
"Like fungus."
"No!" Tommy laughed. "She gets under your skin, she seeps into you. She's sweet and gentle and kind. You just want to be around her, to look at her...."
"Dude, you're talking about my sister!"
"Alright, alright!" Tommy said. "Just don't let Kimmy get in the way when I ask Kay out okay?"
"No problem, Tom," Roman nodded.
Just then they turned to see who they thought was Kay walking towards them. Kimmy had assumed Kay's distinctly swaggerless, "don't notice me" walk. Her head was down and she peered up at Tommy through shy, soulful eyes.
It was the chance to mess with Tommy's head a little, and he didn't have a clue.
"Hi," she said softly.
"Hi," he grinned, losing his armful of books to gravity. He was always so nervous around her!
"Umm, do you want to come to my house this afternoon to...talk?" she asked. Keep the husky sound of your voice, Kimmy told herself. Think nun.
"Sure, I'll see you at 3?"
"3:15," she said quickly. Kay wouldn't get home from her Biology Club meeting until 3:30. That would give her just enough time to -
"3:15 is great," Tommy nodded enthusiasticly. He hesistantly kissed her on the cheek.
"God, what a loser!" she wiped her cheek in disgust. "What did I see in him?"
"Blond hair, blue eyes, great butt," Laurie reminded her.
"Oh yeah," Kay nodded. "Well, get ready to see some sparks fly cuz, Kay doesn't know what's going to hit her."

Kay walked home from school in a haze of contentment. For once, things seemed to be going her way. She had just been elected president of the Bio Club. She and Kimmy were getting along okay. And Tommy Devereaux....
Oh, he was so sweet. And he really seemed to like her for her, not just because she was Kimmy's twin. And smart, they could talk for hours. Abby had always told her how much she thought of him.
She rounded the corner to her house. There was someone sitting on her front porch... Two someones, she could just make out Kimmy's form. And she was kissing someone, really kissing him.
She drew closer- it was Tommy! She let out a wounded little yelp, dropped her books and ran. Tommy looked up, realized what was going on and chased after her.
Kimmy sat back, satisfied.
"Kimmy...." Sami, who had seen everything, said sternly from the doorway. "We're going to have a long talk you and I... RIGHT NOW!"
"But Mom..."
"NOW!"
Tommy finally caught up with her at the park. Kay was swinging listlessly back and forth, letting her feet drag.
"Kay I swear to god I didn't know it was her, I thought was you..."
"You couldn't tell the DIFFERENCE! Do you think I'm the kind of girl who would do that with you on my front porch for the world to see!"
"Wishful thinking?" Tommy shrugged.
"Tommy!" she smiled a bit, but was undeterred. "Don't try to make me laugh, I'm really mad!"
"Kay, if I wanted to be kissing her, don't you think I would still be there?"
She considered it. If only he wasn't so cute! His blond hair fell forward to his brow. His lips curved, knowing she was losing her resolve. She looked into his Horton blue eyes. She thought she would drown.
"Oh...." she lost her resolve. She reached up for his collar and dragged him towards her. She claimed his mouth. It was hers now. He knelt before her swing and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"I don't want to be with anyone but you," he told her.
"Tell me again," she whispered.
"No one but you..." he said again before he kissed her.
