| "The Spurgeons" is a southern gospel group made up of Jerry and Martha Spurgeon who live and reside in Moody, Alabama. Justin Hood who is 16 year-old resides in Fultondale, Alabama. Mr. Jerry Spurgeon has been singing since the the sixties. Mrs. Spurgeon has been singing with her husband for 20 years. Mr. Justin Hood has been singing with "The Spurgeons" for four years and before joining them sang with the group "Men of Acts" from the state of Florida. The Spurgeon name is not new to the southern gospel industry for their roots are deep in gospel music. "The Spurgeons" share a common bond in that they are just like family. Jerry, Martha, and Justin enjoy sharing the talent God has blessed them with and at times feel they are singing in one annointed voice. "The Spurgeons" have been blessed to see so many lives saved and changed during their singing ministry over the years. The Lord has been so good to "The Spurgeons".
