| I wrote this to TNA a while back. I'm usually pretty even tempered and shrug things off but Mike Tenay brought out the feisty side in me so I sent this to them after a comment he made on iMPACT one night. I only hope that Jerry didn't get any heat over it. "What the x*^%$$.. is Wrong with Mike Tenay???!!" Yeah I know he's the "PROFESSOR" but sometimes he sounds like Gilligan. He sure got it wrong Tuesday night on TNA though I didn't know it until Saturday night when Impact aired on Spike TV but he made a remark that made me steaming mad! "We're looking at the best of the X Division." That's what he said when Styles, Daniels, Sabin, Shelley, Aries and Strong were in the ring. I admit they are some of the best but THE BEST was not in the ring that night. THE BEST was backstage working. Who am I talking about? Here are a couple of clues: He was the pioneer of the X division and he is The New 'FN' Show! http://www.jerrylynn.net/ That's who. The others wouldn't have even had a career in the X Division if it weren't for him. We caught a glimpse of him backstage corraling those whiny little babies who came crying to TNA management because they weren't on the lineup for the next PPV. Well neither is Jerry but we don't see him whining. No, Jerry does whatever he can to help out backstage and anywhere else the company needs him but where his fans want to see him is in the ring. Jerry hasn't seen ring action in TNA since August 2005. Those babies he had to come and find Tuesday night for their match see action almost every week. But we all know that Jerry is the one who should see action. Why isn't he? Does anyone know? As far as I can see the only reason he wouldn't be in action is that maybe he needs a decent story line to work with. Those three babies can work without one since they need someone to wipe their cry baby noses and since they are not THE BEST in the X Division but Jerry is of a caliber that he deserves one and maybe it's not being provided. The last run Jerry had was so good because the story line wasn't contrived. It was for real and it was so good. Unfortunately the other wrestler involved in it blew off the whole thing at the next PPV so now Jerry has to wait for another one. Still we never hear him complain and that's part of what makes him a 1st class wrestler and THE BEST of the X Division who should be doing more than wasting his time running around backstage babysitting three Jerry Lynn wannabes! Too bad the "professor" didn't make that point during the show. I've since sent many more message to TNA and most recently some snarly ones in an attempt to get them to put Jerry back in the ring where I personally believe he belongs. I don't know what's wrong with TNA that they just keep him backstage looking after Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt. These three have no need of a babysitter but that is the job that TNA has relegated to Jerry. It really irks me so I've taken it upon myself to set them straight! The next page(s) tell my story about the way that Jerry has been misused. |
