| Saw this at the TNA Community Myspace site today and thought I'd share it. I knew the news sites reporting this at the end of Sept. had it all wrong but I waited until Jerry set the record straight himself. These sites say they confirm or verify whatever they write but that's false. I challenged TNAwrestlingnews.com because they were the ones the rest copied and I said I did verify my info but they wouldn't change what they had written. They said his wife or girlfriend had their baby during the No Surrender PPV and tapings the next day and that's why he wasn't there. Two lines and they got it all wrong. I knew it was his wife. He's known as the new 'FN' show but he wasn't 'FN' everyone in town! Also on Sept. 5th I had written to TNA asking if the reason he hadn't been on Impact for a while was that his wife had their baby and if so I hoped everything went well. The response I got back was that everything went well and Jerry was very happy. Then I was told that he would be Impact again very soon which he was that week. I know it's not a wrestling news story per se but it was about a man's personal life and they told lies about it. So when I saw the story at the end of Sept. I wrote again congratulating him and his wife and then shared what I had seen on line. I said if they didn't care then that's all that mattered but if they did then they had a right to know what was being said about their personal life. Maybe this was his response to those lies: "Jerry Lynn and his wife had their second daughter on August 28. Lynn's first daughter is now 12, but don't think she's ever going to date a pro wrestler, dad said. And, Lynn added with a smile, "if any of their dates try to get cute, my daughters will know how to break bones." Lynn, still active every weekend on the independent scene, said he definitely is interested in one more wrestling run on TV. "I'd like a third run," as X-Division Champion. "It'd be nice to get that title again." So how long will you continue to wrestle? "Until my body says I can't," Lynn said." |
