X-BOARDS
I was a bored kid, but I invented this. Basically, you cut out evenly painted square blocks and paint them different colors. Next, you buy a large "X" stencil or a giant marker to write your own. One side is an "X" while the other is not. Invest in some pawns, either from a custom board game shop or from another board game. Make a start and a finish. Now you're set!

This game can be played one player or with multiple players. You basically roll the dice and travel from start to the number you rolled. If that space happens to be an "X" then you must return to start. The object of the game is to complete the board or be the first of many to complete the board without landing on an "X" space. The more "X" spaces, the harder the game.
