Marguerite Tise (March 9, 1913 - August 8, 2002)
This is a photograph of Marguerite that I took at her home in Floyd, Virginia, in 1997. Her book about the Lester family is in front of her. This book was prepared, complete with an index, on a manual typewriter. It is a wonderful book.
I drove her around Floyd and Montgomery County, at her direction, on that day and she pointed out many family landmarks.
This was Marguerite's home in Floyd, Virginia.
It was my privilege to have known Marguerite Tise.
