This is a photograph of Great-great grandfather John Floyd Lester, at left, Great-grandfather Hulen Berdine Lester, his son, center, and Great-grand mother Nanzella Duncan Lester at right. Children are Ottis S., standing between John Floyd and Hulen Berdine, Ora, standing beside Nanzella, Leonard Green, seated beside John Floyd, and Wilmer Hulen, my grandfather, seated between Hulen and Nanzella. Ottis and Ora were children by Octavius, Hulen's first wife.
Since Wilmer was born in 1891, and appears to be three or four years old, the photograph was made about 1894 or 1895. This photo supports the artist's rendition of John Floyd with brother Harvey. This is a very old photograph. John Floyd died on 12-12-1899
