This is a photograph of children of Great-great grandfather John Floyd Lester and Great-great grandmother, Susan Chaffin Lester. L-R, James, Hulen Berdine, Harvey (namesake of his Uncle Harvey, who is pictured with John Floyd), Sarah E., and John D., eldest child. Guilford D. is not present. It is probable that this photograph was taken at John Floyd Lester's funeral in December 1899. If so, Guilford was deceased. Guilford died prior to 1900 based on census records which reveal that his wife, Sarah Ellen Bishop was a widow at the time of the 1900 census.
