| Ellen was the daughter of Hulen and Eleanor Lester. She was their eighth child. She married Roland A. Akers Feb 15, 1877. They had no children and it is not clear that she lived with him for very long. She and her sister, Catharine, cared for their parents in their last years and Ellen lived with them. | Mary's parents are unknown. She was not quite two years old when she died. |
