Helm  was the son of Joshua and Catherine Lester.  He married Laura E. Basham on Jan 24, 1900.  Laura married Clay Roop, a widower, on Aug 8, 1917.  She is buried in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va.	James  was the son  of Hulen and Eleanor Lester.   He was their eighth child.  He died at age 15.

George  was the son of Joshua and Catherine Lester.  He died of typhoid fever in 1871,  2 days before his 22nd birthday.
