Welcome to my genealogy page.
I became interested in genealogy when I was 15 yrs old. I realized then that I had to find and pass along our family history, so that they would not be lost forever.

My Father's side: My Father is a STILSON, he was born in Washington State, most of the family that I know still live there. When it comes to the Stilson side of dad's tree, our father to father line is finished. The branches of the Stilson children I am still working on. The 1st Stilson in our Family to come to America was Vincent Stilson in the early 1600's and our line has evolved to date. The surnames on dads side are: STILSON, DORION, WHIPPLE, ELEY, HARTLESS, SAMPSON, FOSTER, BATES, and probably a few more that I have not found yet.

My Mother's side: My Mother is a THOMPSON, our Irish or possibly Scotish linage, This particular line has been extreemly difficult. For my great grandfather ran away from home at the age of 10-12 years old and came to America alone, leaving his family in England, and of course he came over on the ship using someone elses name, rather than Thompson, which is his name. Finding his parents has been and still is almost impossible. But the history for my gr. grandfather is rather fascinating in its own way. The surnames on moms side are: THOMPSON, BISHOP, JAMES, HALL, WATT, RAGSDALE, BALL, WARREN, ROBBINS, PATIENCE, and probably a few more I haven't ran across yet.
