First of all, thanks to all the fans that wrote in after Capital Punishment with all the kind words.  It's great to know that the things I have done in the ring have been appreciated.  For those that didn't see it, or haven't heard it yet, that was my last match in PCW, having lost the career vs. career match to Shadow.  This past weekend, I played out the string so to speak, fulfilling my final commitments, and as of this past Sunday, I am done in all promotions.
I won't go into great detail, but many personal reasons, including health and family, have led me to make the decision to stop wrestling.  I won't close the door on the idea of coming back sometime, this is wrestling after all, but I know that I must now move on in my life.
That's why I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the many people that have been instrumental in helping me achieve all that I have over the years.  This may not be interesting to some, but too damn bad, it's my site, and I feel I owe these people their due.  Of course, this isn't a comprehensive list, because every worker, promoter, referee, announcer, or anyone else I have worked with over the years has taught me something and for that I will always be thankful.
First and foremost, I have to thank Shawn Michaels.  Shawn opened up his school, trained me, and made me what I became.  Every step I took in this business I owe to him.  I got to live a dream most don't ever get the chance to, and it's thanks to Shawn, who I could never repay.  I am so happy to have you in the Christian family, and wish you all the greatest with career, family, and anything else you endeavor to achieve.  Thanks so, so much.
The other trainers at Shawn's school must be thanked as well.  When I went through, Ken Johnson, Paul Diamond, and Rudy Gonzalez were all instrumental in preparing me to wrestle.  Of course, Paul and I went on to feud in RCW, something I really had a lot of fun with.  As for Rudy, well we've had our ups and downs, and I know I've not always made decisions he might have agreed with, but he was still there for me when he could be, and for that I thank him.
Besides wrestling for Shawn, PCW was obviously the other big chunk of my career.  Mike and Thomas Bussey built and grew the PCW home and I am so thankful for that.  I was thrilled to be along for the whole ride, and am eager to see what it can still become. Others, like Todd Diamond, Lance Romance, Krusher Kong, Austin Kellerman, Jaime Oller, DeWayne, Scott, and a million others were crucial in helping me succeed there.  I hope they know they'll not be forgotten.  My time with guys like Derek Michaels, Jared Steele, Chris Stevens, Mike Foxx, Eddie Atlas, Bonecrusher, Martin Styles, Rob Moore and all the others both in and out of the locker room is time I will always cherish.
I also want to thank Rob Vaughn, Tim Storm, Apocalypse, and the rest of the CWF family for allowing me a place to do what I love, and do it for a higher purpose.  Those huge road trips across the country were amazing, and some of the best times of my life.  I grew a lot as a person and as a wrestler, just spending time with you, and that's again something I could never repay.
The workers I would need to thank would take up more room than you can imagine, but there are several that I felt I was especially close to, and I know will continue to be friends with long after wrestling is over.  Gabe Roach, thanks for all those long ass phone calls where we got to just bitch about things.  My line is still always open.  Rick Porter, thanks for the God-only-knows how many miles and Chik-Fil-A's we put in together, I sure will miss them.  Brandon Oliver, thanks for giving guys a good place to work, and always helping me advance my career.  AC Riddick, thanks also for the miles, and for everything else we've seen each other through.  Ray Aikens, thanks for nothing.  Just kidding man, you know I could never have done anything I did without you looking out for me, we miss you back in Texas.  Wayne Knight, thanks for breaking me into the business, and thanks for being there with me on my way out.  I had a load of fun at that last show, and really appreciate all you ever did for me.
Finally, thanks to a guy that I didn't exactly see eye to eye with at first.  Of course, I never really saw eye to eye with him, because he's a good six inches taller than me.  Shadow, from that first match in San Antonio when you didn't even realize I was stiffing you, to the road trips through Austin to pick you up on the way to Dallas, to watching you get so mad you bend your steering wheel in half when we were lost, to you getting Porter and me into...well... your place of business for free, to always making sure we had a place to crash, to not catching me on my moonsault, to offering to pay for medical expenses I can't afford, to being one of my best friends in the world, thanks.  I think we did some special things in that ring together, and it was an honor to be in there with you.  I am proud as hell at what you've accomplished now with TNA, and I know it's just the beginning.  The sky's the limit for you, and I know you won't rest until you're on top.  Just know, I'll be watching every step of the way, smiling.  Thanks, brother.
Well, I know I probably just left out a million people, but I hope they understand how hard it is to write something like this.  It was probably more therapeutic for me than anything, but thanks for reading.  To the fans that read this, thanks so much for all your support.  Booing or cheering me, you've cared and I really appreciate that.  We don't have a place to perform without you, so thanks.
Anyway, guys just take care of this business, please.  There's some dumb sons of bitches out there that are gonna ruin it, but I know there's more of us that care enough and love the sport enough to stop them.  Give an ass kicking when it's needed, give a guy a compliment when it's deserved, and just keep trying to make yourself and the sport better.  It's been a pleasure and an honor to have wrestled for you, I hope you've enjoyed having me.
