Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe is an English actor who rose to fame when he was chosen to play the role of Harry Potter in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling's books of the same name. Daniel attended Sussex House School, an all-male school and later sat his AS levels at the City of London School, where he achieved three A grades in 2006. Daniel Radcliffe was born on July 23, 1989 to Alan Radcliffe and Marcia Gresham. Daniel was a very prodigious child actor. When he met with the director of the first Harry Potter film, Chris Columbus, his talent for acting was portrayed and he was seen as perfect for the starring role.
In 2006, the Sunday Times Rich List estimated Daniel Radcliffe's fortune at �14 million. The next year, he was placed at 33rd place in a list of Britain's richest young people. Radcliffe supports a number of charities, including Demelza House Children's Hospice in Kent. He is currently 24 years old and has starred in ten movies. Not many children have starred in movies, and even less have been teen movie star of the year. He has been in Copperfield as a young child, in Equus, and all eight of the Harry Potter films in the Harry Potter film franchise. In addition to the Harry Potter films, Daniel has honed his acting chops on Australian television in My Boy Jack and is set to appear in two more films, The Woman in Black and The Journey Is the Destination.
Daniel is not married, nor has any children, but he does have a girlfriend. Did you know Daniel is the youngest non-royal to have his portrait displayed in London�s National Portrait Gallery. Despite being one of the wealthiest young people in Britain, Daniel says he spends the most money on books.
