The
course:

Jérôme Lemaître was born in 1973.
First working as a hairdresser, he oriented his
work towards fashion and especially towards
accessories. He had the priviledge of working for
three years with Jacques
Gencel, a show business hatter named
"master of art" by the French Ministry
of Culture. He then created in 1998 his first
hats and jewels collection which met immediatly a
warm welcome from the department stores and hype
boutiques. The same year, the Fondation de France
gave him a Salavin-Fournier Vocation Price. Since
then, his work has be saluted by a growing number
of retailers and also the press. |
Paris News
Jérôme Lemaître was happy to be invited to take
part of the "Mode
à Suivre - Paris et ses jeunes talents" exhibition
which presented the work of 50 young Parisian clothes and
accessories designers from September 8 to 17, 2001 at
the Musée Galliera de la Mode et du Costume. He was the
only milliner present at this event.
