I will be your strength, your guiding light
when all seems lost, I'll help you fight;
When times are rough, nowhere to start,
I'll be with you inside your heart.
To be afraid of future unclear,
emotions are high, anger is near;
When the pain is great, and fears you see,
just believe in me, I'll set you free.
Let your worries go, just hold your head up,
Stay positive always, half full is your cup;
Remember the good times, just trust in me;
By your side is where I will always be!

Knowing you wasn't good enough for me,
But loving you was very easy for me;
'Though keeping you wasn't simple for me,
Being with you is a "dream come true" for me.
I thought life with you was simple and easy,
So, I decided to finally stay;
But with your step kids, adjustment wasn't easy,
So, I planned to leave and go away.
My mind was set to leave one day,
without doubts I knew I could be happy;
A plan was made where I would stay,
Without knowing it would change this day.
A sudden change is from inside me,
Mood swings increased inside me;
The fruit of our love is now inside me,
To stay with you is what it's telling me!
