Obituary
The forum was established in 1997 by Matt Miller. I'm not sure if Miller was ever around on the website, but that probably would have been sweet. I wasn't there for most of the time it was around. I joined in July of 2004 and everyone hated me. But I guess I showed them, by staying there (on and off- between computer malfunctions) 'til it shut down in August of 2006. (I finally had 600 posts!) I'd never gotten to meet many of the supposedly way cool forum buddies. The best parts that I could remember were burning the emo children, whom were trying desperately to defend Davey Havok's sexuality. However, what they had forgotten about was that AFI is a crappy talent less piece of shit band. There were a bunch of other random stupid kids there also. There was never too much Nine Inch Nails talk. Mostly because there is only so much that one could say about a single band. There was a lot of cool different music discussed. I was turned on to all kinds of industrial music that I couldn't imagine being without today. There were so many intelligent conversations about books and politics (though a lot of stupid was mentioned). I was actually surprised to find myself learning so much about the world and new conspiracy theories. It's not easy to talk this place (not because it's emotional or anything, but this was just a weird place), so the following is just a list of some of the important members of nin.net. We'll miss you, man.
