75. Henry Haines
Enlisted Aug 15, 1862. Served in Company K of 40th Iowa infantry.
He went to PLainfield, Illinois when 16. He stayed there 16 months and then went to Peoria, Illinois. He came to Benton Co, Iowa in the spring of 1855. He lived at Luzerne, Iowa. Birth date may be November 3, 1818. He was listed as a wagon maker in 1850 census.
He was of Xenia, Ohio.
88. Eliza LaMoree
She lived in Xenia, Ohio in 1929. She and Clara Miner may be the same person.
She was living with sister Florence in Kenesaw, Adams Co, Nebraska at time of 1880 census.
89. Jasper Gillett
Possibly the Jasper Gillett listed in 1880 census at Ohio, Spencer county, Indiana on page 105C.
18. Alfred Miner
May be the Alfred Miner listed in Mckenzie, Lane county, Oregon in the 1880 census on page 211A.
20. Hiram Miner
Enlisted in 40th Iowa Infantry on 08/15/1862. He was in Co. K, a corporal. He was wounded severely on 04/30/1864 at Jenkins Ferry, Arksansas. He was mustered out on 05/23/1865 at Davenport, Iowa.
She came with family by wagon to farm near Blairstown when 14. She died of pneumonia.
They were living in South Creek, Dixon county, Nebraska at time of 1880 census.
Enlisted in 40th Iowa Infantry. Came to Nebraska in March of 1881. Enlisted on 08/13/1862 and was mustered out on 08/02/1865 at Fort Gibson, Cherokee Nation.
26. James Lucas Root
They are living in La Prairie, Marshall Co, Illinois at time of 1870 census.
27. Cyrus Root
He served in Civil War in Co. C ot the 86th Illinois volunteers per gravestone.
She is probably the Levina Root that married Loren Wilson in 1866 and in LaPrairie, Marshall Co, Illinois in 1880 census.
