++blanko the video++ synopsis:

Blanko: sessiOnroad's carrier video from their third album titled bakit hindi? was conceptualized by the band and music video director Milos Curameng.
Chiefly supported by the group's major label, the technical requisites of the video were shot within the compounds of Alpha Music.

The nature of the song was complimented by the band's performance, as the overall feel of the video was that of defining deep-seated spaces and impassive shades between the opposites of backdrops. The band uses theatrical works and some illustrative depictions under the vivid projections of black and white, all for the purpose of reiterating the song's theme.
The video features tricky perspectives as well to impart the ironies and the allegorical equivalents of its lyrics.
The plot introduces a plaintive man standing amidst the trappings of his mind, as interpreted by the incorporation of dire and relentless portraits through the use of a blooded knife, a snake, a discarded television, and a grimed street. These all metaphorically amount to the turmoil an individual suffers as the character struggles to find stillness and harmony, as delineated by the tranquil flight of a bird in the videos parting shots.
Blanko further expresses the possibility of solitude by freeing the mind of its paradoxes and frills- a very suggestive phase for the band to starting up anew with a clean canvas to their ever changing portrait - of life, and its capacities of poems and situations and of a multitude of roads leading to an absolute destination. And why not? Perhaps we could all relate to that.

Album out! Finally it came and a messy olive boxed pawn came out, coughed, screamed and was placed directly on the band's belly with vanilla covered fudge on top. "It’s our third!!" our p.a./tech/assistant Jerome shouted with tears in his eyes. Enjoying the silence and the smell of the newborn cd, the absence of pain (except for some very sore parts below...) was quite a fib. The band's stud muffin members can't quite conclude if they're a mother and there is no concern whatsoever about the album being a boy or a girl, but as we first looked into its spinning eyes we immediately danced the northern boogaloo! When a record is finally born, there is no limit to happiness. With the cd finally in our armpits, all the pain and the chaos millenniums ago are forgiven and was eventually consigned to oblivion. Cheers to the birth of eternity.

“Blanko” – sessiOnroad’s carrier for the album “bakit hindi?” talks about the empty sentiment we feel whenever there’s too much thought in one’s mind. The duality of the idea is noteworthy since a blank mind can only be achieved by filtering out the noise and nonsense that invades our everyday thinking; or by simply ignoring actuality, being inattentive, and being lost in thought completely.
The song attempts lyrically to personify a certain fleeting emotion, whether it’s something universal like love and rapture or something mundane, like boredom and despair. The verses address on how people become easily impassioned by something that they feel is all consuming. The definition of such a response is wildly immense. Different people have different speculations and ideas on things but what the song suggests is that there is an acknowledgement to the feeling of emptiness.
What better way to start the mind than an impression of peace and serenity?
“Blanko” is meditative, wishful, apologetic, and giving to all emotional conquests. It is a song that attempts to sway people into a mood which is reflective, a testament on how they treat their lives accordingly. It shares the power of dreaming and suggests a little of making amends: atonement, a warm embrace, and safeguarding beautiful memories. “Blanko” shares to listeners a straight-out musing to all who wants to be in touch with a consciousness which is suitable and attuned to our ever changing world.
