Jerian Lim's Instructor Web Site

About Me
Links
My name is Jerian and this is my first ever web page.  This isn't just any web page - this is my instructor web page.  I teach laboratory skills specific to the needs of molecular genetics technologists.  I've been teaching for the past 2 years at  the British Columbia Institute of Technology and prior to that I was a technologist myself for over 8 years at the University of British Columbia.

My intention for this web page is to provide a resource for my students; however, visitors are more than welcome.  Currently the web site is under construction so I don't have as many links as I would like nor do I have any bouncing strands of DNA on my web page to emphasize the fact that I teach genetics.  Please be patient - I'm still a little technologically challenged but I'm finding web-site-building a great deal of fun!  Suggestions are always welcome!

About My Cat
This is my cat, Pepsi.  Why did I name my cat after a giant, multimillion dollar American beverage corporation?  I simply don't have an answer for that.  He certainly doesn't imbibe the sugary black concoction; nor does he have stock in the company. Truth be known, he doesn't even come when I call his name.  I suppose I just liked the name.

Ironically, I prefer Coke over Pepsi.
Welcome to my first web page!  We're constantly undergoing construction - so WATCH YOUR STEP!
