This last year I was thinking about going to the qualifier for the Magic The Gathering Pro Tour. I would have gone if it was in the U.S. but all of them were in far away places like Japan, Italy, Canada, etc. My family doesn't have a lot of money and of course I had absolutely no money to get me over there, so then came fall and the season was over. This began my search for a way to get into the tourneys and qualifiers... Well! My answer came when I was searching the net and I found a card store looking for someone to lead them to victory in the Pro Tours of 2002... Of course I jumped on the opportunity and e-mailed them my age, deck type, and my interest in getting a magic team together so they could sponsor us. Well my age did the trick... i'm 11 and he said he needed an experianced player,What a crock! Thus I looked again... I got zip... but then I found the perfect place... a local card shop wanting a young influencial player... once again I jumped at the opportunity. I got in! I am officially a sponsorered player that will enter the pro-tours this summer. So if you don't have that money for the pro-tours and you would like to enter, this is the way... Find a sponsor!
