Meet Mike and Ryan

Here is a picture of Mike (pictured to the right) and Ryan (pictured to the left), who live next door to me. I have known them both since freshman year, I actually met them at orientation. Ryan and Mike are both very good friends of mine. They call Ryan "The Shark" because he has a tattoo of a shark on his right arm. His hobbies include boxing, getting into disputes with real estate agents and pretty much anyone else, stealing oxygen tanks from ambulances (I neither condone nor recommend this action), and rubbing his tummy. Although I have never had the opportunity to see Ryan box, rumor has it that his fighting style in remnant to that of a young Bald Bull. Out of all the people I have introduced you to so far Mike is the only one who has a girlfriend. Mike's girlfriend's name is Mandy and she currently lives in Cincinnati, far away from Mike. Needless to say his hobbies are limited to talking to Mandy on the phone and AOL Instant Messenger and doing his schoolwork.  Once in a while Mike and his friend, Dan, from GWU  will promote clubs in the DC area under the guidance of Nassar, Mike's current employer (this is only one of Mike's many lucrative endeavors). In a couple of days  Mandy will be leaving to study abroad in Japan.  Mike will be needing some cheering up, maybe you guys could help?  Both Mike and Ryan are looking forward to hearing from you.

3/27/00 Update: Mandy, Mike's girlfriend of over one year, has left for Japan.  Mike is really bummed out, so if you guys have read this far please take the initiative to click on Mike's e-mail address and send him a message to try and cheer him up.

4/15/00 Update: Last night, Ryan had his first amateur bout.  Unfortunately Ryan lost the fight by decision, but considering his opponent has fought many times before Ryan put up a great fight.  If you would like to hear more about it, Ryan would be more than willing to give a "play by play" commentary via e-mail.

4/22/00 Update: Ryan is now the 125 lb. regional novice Golden Gloves champion by default, sort of a paper champion if you may.  Rumor has it that his opponent heard of Ryan's devastating fighting techniques and wet himself.  Ryan received a shiny gold medal that he modeled for the crowd with pride.  I think a congratulations is in order.
