If there is a God, and we are all created in his image, does that not also mean that he is created in ours? Man is flawed, so it follows that God must be flawed as well...
I for one have trouble enough with the folly of man without a flawed omnipotent being breathing down my neck. If Satan was created by God and then cast out of heaven, and man was created by God and cast out of Eden, and if Eden was supposed to be heaven on Earth are we not all the Devil's kin? If so, why do some of us persist in the notion that heaven is available to us? We lost that right when Eve bit into the apple. And if Lucifer was cast down to Earth and given power over mortals, then would it not mean that Earth is in fact Hell and we are all striving in vain to please a God that has already forsaken us... |
