| Urban Legends: Final Cut Site: sony.com/urbanlegends Starring: Jennifer Morrison, Joseph "Whoa" Lawrence Synopsis: A student at a film school decides to create her student film based on a killer who kills via urban legends. However, as the movie begins, the viewer must decide what is real and what is just a movie. Review: This is the sequel that's not a sequel to the kick-ass 1998 Urban Legend. Unfortunatly, where as Urban Legend was inventive and scary, Urban Legends: The Final Cut is the worst horror movie ever made. No, scratch that, it is THE worst movie ever made. Boring doesn't begin to describe this monstrousity. The dialogue is stupid, the acting is bad and the atmosphere is non-existant. The premise of the movie is great, however, it's not pulled off at all in this movie. I saw the film in the theatre and hated it but decided to give it another shot on DVD hoping that I would change my mind. Unfortunatly, the movie was worse the second time and I could only stomach half of it. I should add, however, that the ending is inventive as is the special scene at the end that fans of the first film will mark out for. Other than the endings, this piece of crap should be avoided at all costs!! And why the hell add an "s"? Rating: 2/10 (the movie is only a 1, but the twist endings are good) More Like This: Crow, Crow: City of Angels |
