| Title: Space Cowboys Site: n/a Starring: Clint Easton, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland, James Garner Synopsis: A Russian satellite is about to fall to earth and only 4 old pilots, part of an old air force space program can repair it and stop it from falling. But what is the mystery surrounding why the satellite can't fall? Review: Old men in space are actually entertaining. Yeah, it surprised me to. The movie has just the right amount of comedy to keep things lightened up and the chemistry between the actors is phenomenal. The plot and story is a little spotty at times as is the useless bit of drama added near the end. However, Eastwood does a great job directing and the movie has an addictive quality that makes you wanna watch. The ending is text book, but that's not always such a bad thing and works well in this case. Maybe not the best movie ever made, but well worth a rental Rating: 7/10 DVD: The dvd is solid and the extras are descent. Give it a try. Rating: 7/10 More Like This: Not many old men is space movies so this is about it. Cocoon maybe. |
