| Title: Mission Impossible II (M:i 2) Site: N/A Starring: Tom Cruise, Synopsis: Sequel to the original movie spun from the TV series that follows Ethan as he tries to stop a mad man from infecting the world with a deadly virus Review: The director of this was John Woo which is good and bad. Good because the man's action scenes are the best in Hollywood and Bad because plots usually play second to that. Unfortunately, that's not the case this time. The action in the movie is awesome (ie could never happen in real life) and makes the movie a must see. Plot wise, well, the movie is sort of boring at times and reminds me of a James Bond movie. Then again, I liked the original more which puts me in a minority. Again, though, the movie is fun and the plot does have its fun points and the usual arrays of fun gadgets. Rent it, buy it, either way I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Rating: 7/10 More Like This: Mission Impossible, Any Bond Movie, Thomas Crowne Affair, Entrapment. |
