Review:
"GI Joe, a real american hero, GI Joe is there!!"  Come on, you know you watched GI Joe back in the day, especially if you're a guy.  Anyway, the movie doesn't quite live up to the memories, but few things do.  With that said, the movie also isn't that bad.  The animation isn't state of the art by today's standard's, but is classic Joe.  The story is very welcoming to new viewers or those who may not have a memory of the show as it's basicly an introduction to new characters and the death of some of the old.  It also retraces some of the history of Joe to better catch everyone up.  The story is mature at times, but small children can watch it and there's very little foul language.  Overall, a great movie to return older fans to their childhood and a great way to introduce younger kids to the days before computer generated everything.

Rating: 7/10

DVD:  Okay, this is an older DVD of an old movie.  However, the transfer is pretty good with no glitches.  Extra's are very scarce, but include some of the old GI Joe safety tips, which are fun to watch. But then again, there's not much you can add to this old movie though commentary could have been good.

Rating: 6/10  (remember, this is for the DVD content not the movie!!)
