| Title: Battlefield Earth Site: www.battlefieldearth.net and www.battlefieldearth.com Starring: John 'my career is dead' Trovolta Synopsis: 1000 years in the future earth has be over run by the alien race known as Psychlos and humanity has been enslaved. Review: Don't walk away from this movie, don't run away, get in a damn car and drive as fast as you can away from this movie. It starts out good enough and even makes you think this movie could be good. Unfortunately, it's all down hill from there. You can never tell when the Psychlos are speaking english or psychlonese (?) and thus never know when the humans can understand them and when not (this is sort of important to the story). Likewise, can someone explain to me how the hell 1000 year old jets can have no rust, moss, or anything and still run using the same fuel that's already in them. Yeah, me neither. Such stupid little mistakes are common place and the ending, too, is stupid. Don't even bother renting this movie, unless you have a DVD player to play with all the cool extras. Rating: 2/10 DVD: Commentary, hidden features, ect. The transfer is also great with good sound. However, if you're smart, just skip the thing.
