| Titan AE Site: titanae.com or afterearth.com Starring: (voices) Drew Barrymore, Bill Paxton, Matt Damon Synopsis: Decades ago, the earth was attacked and destroyed by an alien force, the Drej. However, before it exploded, a massive ship called the Titan, the only weapon able to destroy the menace and rebuild earth, escaped. Now, a young man holds the fate of a new earth in the palm of his hand. Review: One of the greatest animated movies of all time. The plot has been done before, however, the movie is still able to suck you in. The rock soundtrack, used only when it matches the scene, will remind you of the classic Heavy Metal movie from the 80's. Likewise, the action in the movie is for kids and adults. The animation is also some of the greatest ever scene on film with computer generated special effects that will blow you away. This is the animation equivalent of Star Wars which has rightfully attained a cult following and is considered a major step forward in animation by many critics. And while the movie does lose some of it's epic status on the small screen (similar to movies like Jurrasic Park and the like) rush out and buy Titan AE on video or DVD now. You will enjoy this masterpiece as one of the greatest animated and sci-fi movies ever and it beats the crap out of anything Disney can crank out!!!
