This site is home to an online role playing game.  It is different than most role playing games in that it's action is set within a pro-wrestling federation, called the Universal Warrior League, or for short, UWL.

In order to involve yourself in this game, you must first create a character, which you can do by clicking on the 'sign-up' option at the main page.  After you have created the character, the first order of business is letting everybody know exactly who your character is, and what he wants...you do this by role-playing.

Which, of course, begs the question 'what is a role-play'?

A role-play is basically a brief story you write about your created character.  During the course of this short piece, your character could:

Reveal how tough(or weak) he is in his training for an upcoming bout.

Call out another character to a fight, or simply insult him/her.

Have a flashback, get in a fight, or engage in any action which lends greater insight to exactly what sort of person he/she is.

Your role-plays are written and published on the site's roleplay board, which is accessed by clicking on the 'roleplay board' option at the main page.

Once a month, a huge PPV event will occur in the UWL, squaring off character against character. The results will be based in part on the quality writing in the role-plays (not necessarily the length or quantity), in part on the degree to which the player has "played along" with storylines and with other player's RP's, as well as the degree to which the player has stayed "in character". There is also a subjective element involved...such is the nature of the game. The UWL is different from other online wrestling RPG's in that its results will, for the most part, come once a month. This gives players a full months time to role-play and it also gives the writers as much time as possible to pull together a high-quality card that was worth role-playing towards.

Things to remember are this:

The UWL is certainly a competition, but it is also about having fun, developing plots, getting into your character and immersing yourself in a wild and crazy fantasy world.

The ONE, SINGLE cardinal sin in the UWL is using another character in your role-play...unless you have the express consent  of the person controlling that character.
