| jeremy kirk came to carpentry through metalwork during grad school. he spent five years with a wonderful company in Athens, Ga, whose work revolved primarily around updating vernacular buildings with modern details and materials, with careful regard for their history and intergrity. It was through their work that he developed his attention to detail and appreciation for the well-crafted yet simple intersections of material that define quality design. he has practiced in Chicago, with the occasional foray back to Georgia, for the past five years. |
