| Wow! I was amazed at what stood before me! I couldnt believe it, it was a-a-real live cave! My mouth was wide open and my eyes were the same. I was even sweating a little and I was jumping hysterically. I knew it wasnt very safe, but if I didnt go in the cave, I knew that I would have to hurt myself later. So, of course, I went in without any difficulty or regret. When I entered, I noticed that it was oddly very warm. Although sweat was rolling down my cheek, the cave sent a shiver down my spine that made me jerk suddenly. I was also puzzled by the extremely bright light reflecting on the wet, slimy walls of the creepy cave. This is weird, I exclaimed rather loudly. My voice echoed through the whole cave. I found this rather funny. So, just suddenly, I screamed, Heellooo! The cave shook making me have to lean on the walls to prevent myself from falling. And then, the thing that scared me more than anything, Roooaaarrrrr! Then, red, orange, and yellow flames shot out from the corner of the cave. By now the cave had stopped shaking and I had gone pretty far into the cave to where I couldnt see the comforting light from the sun. And then, I heard it again, Roooaaarrrrr! But this time, there was more than just the sound; there was a dragon! It was huge! The dragon had to duck when it walked. It was pine tree green, with blood-red eyes, smoke was coming from its nose, and the feet on it were as big as tire from a car. Its trailer-long tail had two snow-white, sword-long spikes! And what scared me the most was that it was stomping.toward me! I wanted to, but I couldnt move. I was to terrified. I was too scared to even make a sound, and I had to force myself to breathe. The dragon stopped dead in front of me; its head was only a foot away from mine, if that much. It backed its head away and then, it struck me, a little voice in my head said, Run and run as fast as you can, get out, hide, move, NOW! I turned around quickly and ran. I didnt even turn around, just did what the voice had told me to. And, to my surprise, the dragon didnt chase me. I saw the sunlight and even cried in relief. I ran and ran, and didnt stop until I saw my house. I was safe! |
