Writing Workshop
The 4th grade teachers will hold a parent workshop on Monday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 in the multipurpose room to pass along information and helpful materials that can be beneficial to you and your child as we all prepare for the State Writing Test on March 2.
On Tuesday February 10, our school has been selected to participate in a statewide writing field test. Our 4th grade students will take this writing field test. However, I have tried to encourage the students to think of this as a warm up or a practice. They should not be nervous or uptight since the results will not be released.
EOG Parent Workshop
On Monday February 9 at 6:30, the 3rd grade teachers will have a parent workshop that will provide materials and information on the EOG tests. This workshop will be extra beneficial for parents that have children taking the EOG�s for the first time.
Ellendale will once again have the mime, Doug Berky, perform for us on February 11 at 1:30. Students are asked to bring in $1.00 to help offset the cost of this program.
