Your Booklet Must Include The Following:
1. A map of each region on NC
2. Two reports from each region
3. Information concerning the state symbols
4. A map of major rivers in NC
Your Booklet May Include The Following:
1. Up to four pages of travel brochures
2. Various maps of NC
3. Information concerning famous people from NC
4. Current events concerning NC
5. Vacation photos taken in NC
6. Be creative. Any information related to our state will be acceptable
Getting The Grade
45 pages = A
40 pages = B
35 pages = C
30 pages = D
25 pages or below = F
For you information
- All pages should be numbered
- Each project should be in a folder or other covering
- Folder cover is January 24
- At least 10 pages should be completed by February 28
- At least 20 pages should be completed by March 21
- Completed book is due May 3
- Each day your booklet is late, results in a drop of a letter grade
- Please keep in mind that a limited number of internet printouts should be included in the booklet. We want to see the children display their own writing ability and artistic creativity with this project. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
