My Guitars:
I own a Fender DG-7 acoustic and a vintage 60's Harptone 12-String(which I'm probally going to have to sell) :(

I'm planning on recording some of my original instrumental stuff sometime in the near future. When I do I'll be sure to put them on here. But in the meantime here are some older(not necessarily good) recordings of me playing the guitar.

This is me playing the intro to "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor.
I think I'm playing it a little too fast but oh well.
Fire and Rain(Wav)

This is me trying to play "Frail" by Jars of clay .
FRAIL(Wav)

Songs I've recently learned or am currently working on...
(Playing songs is one thing, remebering how to play them is another)

Songs I've written and actually finished...
...and probally more I can't think of and a lot only half written.
Will there ever be any recordings on here?...probally not :)
Lyrics? Maybe...someone would have to ask me really really nicely though :)

Here's a list of some of my favorite instrumental guitarists.

Phil Keaggy: This guys amazing. I saw him in concert and wasn't sure if I'd leave inspired or feel like I should give on guitar completely. He's considered one of the best fingerstyle guitarists in the country which is even more amazing considering he's missing one of his fingers. Phil is known for using alternate tunings, unusaual chord voicings, fret tapping, harmonics, lightning fast runs, almost every trick in the book and does it so effortlessly. I should be able to play like him in oh, maybe 300 years.

Steve Oliver: This is my favorite jazz guitarist.

Craig Chaquico: While maybe not one of the most technicaly amazing guitarists out there; Craig is still able to compose some of the most beautiful melodies I've heard on guitar.

Michael Hedges: A finger tapping virtuoso

Carlos Montoya: Flamenco guitar at its best...(well, maybe after Paco)

Preston Reed: A very inovative guitarist.

Billy McLauglin:

If anyone knows of anyone else that should be on this list please email me and I'll check them out...I'm always looking for new inspiration.
