| Jeremiah Louis Herman 12/31/99 - 08/24/2002 Stage IV Neuroblastoma Jeremiah is our first born child. Thirty days after his second birthday, January 30th, he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He battled for 8 months before going back Home. He was in our lives for such a short amount of time but his spirit lives on in each of us at the Herman house! He is every bit a part of this family and the kids won't hesitate to tell you they have a big brother who lives in Heaven. He's always in our hearts & never far from our thoughts. | Jake is still keeping very busy with Karate and doing quite well with it. He's learning the three areas of concentration; Focus Your Eyes, Focus Your Mind, & Focus Your Body. He's hot into Bakugans these days, especially after picking up the official manual at the school book fair yesterday. And for Jake, most importantly, he's preparing & making lists for his 7th birthday on October 2nd. |

| HOT OFF THE PRESS... Benny & Allie are both wearing big boy / girl underwear!!!! Not only are they wearing them but they're doing pretty good with it. Benny had 1 accident at Kids R Kids yesterday and Allie had 2. That is really good. With their 3rd birthday less than a month away, Adam, Jake, and I couldn't be happier about the progress we're making in this area! |
