The following is one of my best memories. I really saved the day and helped mom out. This is how it happened........
I was out in the backyard doing my business, protecting the yard from birds & squirrels, when mom comes screaming for me to COME NOW!! I run as hard as I can, she was frantic. Hmm....
I get to Mom and I can tell she was scared... We go into the bathroom and Murphy the cat, is in the bathtub???? THEN I SEE IT....... IT'S A RAT!!......!! A BIG RATTTT!!
Things happen quickly from here... Murphy the cat, is just playing with that thing, and Mom is terrified!!
I have to act Fast!!!! Using all my CAIRN CUNNING..... I LEAPT IN THE TUB, The rat tried to run..... But I'M AS FAST AS THEY COME!!!!....... I TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS IN A QUICK BURST OF VIOLENT SHAKING!!! Growl..ruff..ect.. -- With Mom SCREAMING behind me....!!
It was all over, in seconds!!! I was standing over my prey, just daring it to get up again. My tail was so far over my back, I was PUMPED.... Mom was much better now!!! Mom congratulated and bragged on me!!! Pepper's not very good at this, she's a girl you know..... I kept checking for more of those nasty rats, but no more appeared.... I even watched Murphy the cat to see if he could catch any more.. I don't think Mom wants to see any more, but boy would I love to get another one!!!
