- July- Removed rear track bar, could tell no difference on-road
- July- New PIAA lights mounted on bumper
- September- Added whiteface gauge overlays $35

- November- Valve Cover, Rearmain seals replaced (took to shop) $225 rearmain, $100 valve cover
- November- beefy nerfbars added $75
- December- removed front track bar, noticed little difference on-road.. Big improvement off-road with both bars removed
- December- Installed CSF New all steel radiator, lifetime warranty $150
- April 2002- Added AFM bumper $200 with hitch (great bumper) and adding AFM recovery shackles soon
- April- 4 31" bfg a/t ko & 1 31" mud for spare picked up used for $325 One is brand new and the rest have appx. 6000 miles and they include the discount tire road hazard warranty
- June 2002 Took Jeep to Baer Trax, Resealed rear axle, replaced yoke used U-bolts, installed support braces to keep body from flexing on frame at front grill(something that should have been done with body lift) Great Job.
Transmission leaks a little, will repair later.

97XJ Cherokee
1997 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L, Automatic
Bought Jeep in March 2002, 71,000 miles after selling Isuzu Rodeo, Jeeps....Just Empty Every Pocket. The Cherokee will be for daily driving and longer trips to Colorado and places that a YJ with no a/c or no room for doggies, bikes and friends would work. Cherokee staying stock(I think....), except for tow hooks and skid plates.
97XJ Sport Specs: Lapis Blue, 4WD Command-trak, Aluminum wheels Ecco-5 star, Tow package, Infinity sound system w/CD cassette, overhead console, fog lights, Chrysler 8.25 rear axle, 3.55 gear ratio, Thule roof rack, and a beautiful Lapis Blue color..
